Repertoire

Norman Beedie’s choral repertoire as a conductor is wide, covering choral music from Monteverdi to Rutter and Tavener. In the world of opera and theatre he has served all aspects as repetiteur, conductor and director. His symphonic conducting repertoire is comprehensive and including such rarities as Lyatoshinsky Second Symphony and Groffe Grand Canyon Suite. His piano repertoire now focuses on the music of the Viennese masters – especially the concerti of Mozart and Beethoven but also including the unusual Burlesque by R Strauss and the monumental D minor concerto by Brahms.
